Soul Garden Bistro, recently re-branded as ‘Lyfe by Soul Garden Bistro’ is a very popular vegetarian joint in the city. It has gained popularity with its inclusive menu catering to various dietary needs such as vegan, keto-friendly and gluten-free. To spread the word about ‘Lyfe’ or ‘Live your food every day’ and the benefits of following a healthier lifestyle, we decided to bust certain myths about healthy eating through various campaigns.
We decided to change the look and feel of the creatives, that would resonate with our messaging. White spaces were used abundantly to provide breathability, and soon other creatives followed suit. This was used as supplementary material for marketing ideas that helped us promote Lyfe as the go-to global desi restaurant during the 2021 pandemic. From subscription boxes and DIY material to curated menus, Lyfe was present in all venues. This helped them sustain and hold their ground.
Having opened their fourth outlet in Express Avenue (Royapettah), Lyfe has re-emerged from the pandemic as a successful chain, winning Times’s Food Awards (2022) for the ‘Best Global Multi-Cuisine restaurant (Veg)’ in Chennai. The chain has also opened a zero-waste store that is quickly gaining traction. Involved in the process of branding and digital marketing, we have worked with the chain to increase its visibility online through our campaigns, and we hope to do so in the coming years.
